In today's interconnected world, databases serve as the backbone of virtually every organization, handling vast amounts of sensitive information. However, with this reliance comes a host of security threats that can jeopardize the integrity and confidentiality of data. This paper presents a comprehensive review of ten prominent threats to databases, ranging from SQL injection attacks to insider threats and data breaches. Each threat is analyzed in detail, highlighting its potential impact and offering effective solutions for mitigating risks. By understanding these threats and implementing robust security measures, organizations can safeguard their databases against malicious actors and ensure the continued integrity and availability of their data assets.
